inexpensive rear sprocket?

Sorry, I'm unsure whether to post this here or on the WTB forum. My kids friend needs a 48 tooth rear sprocket for his Husqvarna. It's the same as our GG bikes. I found a cheap steel one for $18 but forgot the website. He doesn't have much cash. Anyone know who sells them cheap?

if he can scrape up the money, the cheapest kind of sprocket is going to be the one that he doesnt have to replace for a really long time. i have an iron man sprocket, and while i have heard of it breaking on a 4 stroke, they seem to last forever on a two stroke. i bought my bike as the 5th owner, and my iron man has been on there since at least two owners ago, and i cannot see any visible signs of wear. if/when i need a new one, it will be an iron man sprocket. and yes they do cost in the vicinity of $110 but it could be the last sprocket he buys for the life of that bike.

The JT sprockets are great. I have been running the same rear sprocket for about 3 years now.

I'm really hard on sprockets and chains. I always run a high quality x ring chain with Ironman sprockets. The rear will last me about 150 hours.

i've got over 150 hours on a ironman rear and it still looks like new.. the regina chain is almost done. the front just started hooking this last week, so i'm sending it back for a free replacement. it's a bit loose on the splines, i'm assuming that's what did it in..

I've had a 46 tooth steel rear on my moto for almost 2yrs(just took it off due to hooking)...in that time I've gone thru' 2 front sprockets(turning them too) and 2 o ring chains...not bad for riding every week in both enduros, forest practice and the odd beach race..

:)

1 year - i sent mine back after 10 months and they replaced. i doubt if i get to start over again with the new one :)

the rears are the deal- i can see 2 maybe 3 seasons outta a rear.... the fronts are gonna wear if you're running 13....

Yup. my front only lasted a year. No better than the stock Talon did.

Its hard to get any more than that out of a 13T countershaft sprocket. So far the Ironman has been the best. I just installed a new Ironman rear on the wheel I ride with most often. My last one was like new for over a year until bent on a rock, thats the weak point if any.
