Horrible for the guys that sold their 2011 bikes to get 2012 bikes for the race season.
Agreed. Guess we should have expected this with a complete chassis redesign.

It won't matter as a completed bike must leave the dealer anyway I'm sure.
What would help, is to get a couple 98% bikes over here to Clay or GoFasters fast to check fitment of aftermarket stuff like skid plates on the new frame. I know I can't ride mine without protection, so if new skids have to be made I'll be riding my '07 until then.

But will they?? I'm hoping the same skid plates, rad guards, pipe guards all fit up and i'm 88% (random number) sure they will. It would be great to have the confirmation now though so that those racing can have everything ready to bolt on and race.
We aren't expecting our container in aus until feb some time. Dealer suggested i pre book if I want one but I might leave it to chance. 2013's will be just around the corner if I miss out.

The 4Ts have a Yamaha engine. The only way Yamaha would agree to supply engines to GG is if GG would agree not to sell the motorcycles with Yamaha engines to the US. We brought the 11 model 250s in and they did not sell very well. If you want to buy one of them, we will make you a great deal on one of them.

I don't think you will need a skid plate. The '12's in the US will come with the same skid plate that the '11 Nambo and Cervantes have on it and it is excellent! They are made out of plastic that is about 3/8 inch thick. Mine has held up extremely well, even after a Mass rock race.

Just ordered new 300 racingI have raced 13 events with my -11 Sixdays and it has run 100 hours. Great bike no problems at all...
Any word on when you will take delivery? We were told January in the US but doesn't look like that's going to happen.

It's not big problem to me, but hopefully within 2 months... My dealer couldn't promise any specific time, because factory is closed this week.
