What did you do to your Gas Gas today?

Got the old girl out for a proper ride in. Did some backyard MX at a friend's house on Sat then hauled up to the state line on Sun morning and got some good woods riding in. Felt good to be back in the saddle

Fred,
We've only got about 6 more weeks to ride at TrainRobbers this year. You missed the best part, and ought to come back down and ride. You just need a guide. I know where you can find a slow guide. :)

.

Rode a couple of hours practising for the upcoming weekend's race. Wet. Slippery, steep uphill and down again with mud, stones and roots. Tested out my new green stripe Mitas C18 rear tyre. Not bad at all.
And yes, I also had my first ride with my new Airoh Aviator 2.1 helmet. Quite ok, that as well. Not to mention that it also was my first ride with Twisted Engineering bars.

What are your thoughts on the Twisted bars? I just did Flexx bars and I am really happy with them. I wanted the carbon bars but I'm not ready to pop on the price yet.

Hard to tell so far. Last time I rode the same track it was dry so my speed and confidence was a bit higher. That time I got beat up by all the smaller steps, roots etc. Not so much this time, but as the speed was lower its hard to compare. But I'm quite convinced they work as expected. I agree they are expensive for a set of bars. I also bought their handguards. I didn't exactly make the purchase less expensive...

I see. Well, be sure to let us know how they work out for you in the long term. Ive been fairly enamored with them since they came out.

I noticed with the Flexx bars my hands don't go numb anymore so that's something. But like you, I haven't really had a chance to get a good comparable ride on them.

On saturday I rode a 2 hour race. I think the bars work well. I am a slow "racer" and usually end up close to the bottom of the rankings. I did so this time as well, but I was closer to the midrange riders than usual, so I think the bars helped me keep my speed up for a longer period.

2200kms / 56hrs 35mins. Chain is near toasted with teeth able to pull off the rear sprocket a good amount.

Fuelled her up and ready for tomorrows brap!

Did final assembly, draged her outside and started her up. Damn i had forgotten how fast a 2 stroke rews. Cant wait to take her for a ride uploadfromtaptalk1409069137592.jpg

I did a yellow lamin-x film on my headlight. Purely for function. That function being that it looks cool. Other than that I've just been riding it.

Unbelievable cleaning product!!!

Tried a new bike cleaner today. My 2010 EC300 needed a really good wash & polish. You won't believe the results!

My 250F got itself a Rekluse EXP 3.0. Only did the run-in procedure on my back yard. Weird sensation really. Now lets get rid of those driver error stalls.
