broken clutch plates?

I had the 2 inner plates break on my 300 with a Rekluse installed. Just bought a set of Moose Frictions. Went back to the manual clutch. Install seemed good and seems to work well driving around the yard. Clutch does not have any drag. Good engagement. I likely will not ride the bike much in the near term so a full ride report unlikely for a while.

Digging out an old thread, but today I also broke 3 friction plates - 2nd, 3rd, and 4th from the bottom.

The bike is 09 EC300, with 167 hours and 4500km (~2800 miles). Steel plates are 1.5mm thick. Friction plates are 2.7mm. That's the normal specs, right? Has this usage of FSE springs worked out good?
Lastly, has the switch to Honda CR250 yielded better performance and/or durability?
